Winery Review: This unoaked Chardonnay is an accessible wine with the body of the Chardonnay grape without the oak and buttery flavors often associated with this cultivar. The wine displays notes of orange rind, apple skin, crisp pear and melon fruit in a medium-bodied naked style.
My Review: This wine was not that good to me. I was definitely able to get pear and melon notes from the nose, but what I tasted was a different story. I tasted a strong acidic flavor the tasted of butter and "staler than usual" croutons, which brought back bad Chardonnay memories for me.
I tasted this wine on its own.
