Winery Review: Pale straw in color with notes of mango, citrus blossom and tangerines on the nose. on the palate, a medley of tropical fruit unfolds into mango, grapefruit and tangerine flavor. These tropical notes continue throughout the long and lingering finish.

My Review: Light and floral on the nose and on the palate. I like the wine and did get a lot of the citrus notes from the description above, but I did think that the acid "taste" of the fruit made the wine slightly unbalanced.

I tasted this wine on its own.

On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied with inviting blueberry pie and cocoa flavors. Enjoy this wine with grilled rib eye steak with herb butter, braised beef short ribs, or black-pepper-crusted ahi tuna. My Review: This was a very good wine that offered a lot of spicy notes and offered sort of medium to high tannins. The body of the wine was bold and full and had great aromatic notes of chocolate, dark berries, and slight musk. I tasted this wine by itself.

Tasting: Elsa Bianchi Malbec

Elsa Bianchi  Malbec Mendoza  Argentina  2015 $16 Winery Review:  This Malbec is red-violet in color, with aromas of plums and black cherries and a subtle, smoky scent. The beauty of Malbec in Argentina is its ability to combine a rich, weighty mouth-feel with a soft silkiness normally associated with lighter wines. Elsa Malbec takes the promise of the nose through to the palate, with dark fruits that mimics the aroma. The soft, supple palate and smooth tannins lead to a round and harmonious finish. My Review: This was a nice and simple red wine that has medium tannins. There were nice floral notes with nice strawberry and plum notes. I tasted this wine by itself.

Tasting: Risata Prosecco

Risata Prosecco Extra Dry Italy $16 Winery Review:  The nose has the scent of ripe peaches. It is semi-sweet with peach apricot and floral notes on the palate. My Review: This was a nice refreshing wine that was a real easy drinker. The wine offered aromas of nectarine and peaches, followed by peaches on the palate accompanied by light citrus hints. This wine had low tannins and can be enjoyed all throughout the day! I tried this wine by itself.
